Options and Add-Ons for Geo Yurts
If you pre-purchase one of our base models, you get the original and unique Geodesic Yurt with its innovative new design, bay windows, and venting skylight. When we reach our pre-sales goal in summer 2023, these add-ons will begin to become available to add to your purchase.

Floors
Begin by selecting a flat, level area for the installation of your Geodesic Yurt. Your base model includes detailed scale drawings for both the dome's footprint and an optional wooden deck to place it on.
For a supplementary fee, we provide pre-cut lumber kits with a range of options. These kits can be as basic as deck framing, ensuring a perfect fit for your dome on the platform.
Every Geodesic Yurt dome comes with secure anchors designed to attach your dome to either the deck or directly to the ground, providing stability and peace of mind.

Entry Doors
Mandala Domes' innovative entryways make these geodesic structures user-friendly and comfortable. Our high quality finishes and craftsmanship give a unique personality to your backyard getaway or mountain retreat. Our base models include exterior doors with a clean, modern look. Choose to add on extra sidelight windows, custom vents, or a custom stained mandala!

Skylights
Skylights are a great way to bring more light and ventilation into the living space. The unique skylight system included in our base models helps to shed water and snow from the top of the Geo Yurt. The hinged ABS glazing opens with a screw-jack window opener. All ventilating skylights come equipped with a telescoping skylight pole for opening the window. Motorized or sensor options are also available.

Insulation and Wall Panels
Add 3 season comfort to your Geo Yurt with our insulation and modular wall panels. These add-ons provide either R16 or R20 insulation factor depending on the options you choose.
Standard insulation panels are custom-cut to fit into the triangular spaces between the geodesic frame struts, while leaving an airspace between the surface of he insulation and the vinyl cover.
Our modular wood-finish wall panels have insulation integrated and provide a clean look. They are modular with glue or fasteners to enable easy disassembly or replacement.

Wood Stoves and Accessories
Keep your Geo Yurt warm with wood! We partner with the Idaho-based Tiny Wood Stove Company to offer wood burning stoves for yurts, domes and our Geo Yurts. Order through us for a discount on dome or cabin sized wood stoves and accessories.
We also offer specialized wall panels to shield our vinyl covers from the heat and allow the chimney to pass through without burning the material.
Composting Toilets
Composting toilets save water and help avoid the hassle of creating a sceptic system for your backyard B&B or mountain retreat. We partner with Air Head Composting toilets to provide the best option for Geo Yurts.
We also have a special wall panel available for routing the ventilation hose and mounting the external solar panel that runs the fan.
Drinking water containers
Give your remote hideaway all the comforts of home! We offer large capacity potable water containers for off-grid living with either manual or electric pumps. These are tested and vetted for use with Geo Yurts and include detailed installation instructions. Ask us about on-site installation for an extra fee.
All of these options will become available after we have reached our pre-sales goal and officially enter production of the Geo Yurt in spring of 2022.
